Andriy Shevchenko rejoins Dynamo Kyiv! 29 August 2009
[FCDynamo.Kiev.ua] Andriy Shevchenko has returned to his home country, agreeing a two-year contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv. The 32-year-old striker moved back to his native Dynamo after ten years at AC Milan (Italy) and Chelsea FC (England).
The player will be officially presented at a press conference at the Valeriy Lobanovskyy stadium on Sunday 30 August at 15.00, with FC Dynamo Kyiv president Ihor Surkis and team's head coach Valeriy Gazzaev taking part in the event.

[Uefa.com] After ten years between AC Milan and Chelsea FC Andriy Shevchenko return to play for the club that launched him in international tennis, FC Dynamo Kyiv. The 32 year-old knew that Chelsea would have freed him and decided to return home by signing a two year contract with Dynamo that will introduce you to the press at Valeriy Lobanovskiy Stadium on Sunday. The six-time Player of the Year Ukrainian Dynamo had to play 116 league games - scoring 60 goals - before moving to Milan in 1999. Shevchenko with the Rossoneri won the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Super Cup in 2003 before also celebrate a championship. Shevchenko, who scored a record of 41 goals in 87 games with Ukraine, was moved to Chelsea in 2006 but has never found a regular place at Stamford Bridge and returned on loan to AC Milan last season. Shevchenko will return to San Siro on October 20 against FC Internazionale Milano valid in the race for the UEFA Champions League Group F - where they were also raffled off FC Barcelona and FC Rubin Kazan.
